How Scoring Works
Every time a JIRA ticket is created or updated, HammerR&D analyzes the summary, description, and metadata using AI to produce a score from 0 to 100%.

What We Analyze
HammerR&D reads only the minimum data needed to score each ticket:

- Labels and components
We do not access attachments, comments, user data, or any other JIRA content. Scores are stored in Atlassian Forge storage within your JIRA instance.
Data & Privacy
Your data security is our priority:
- Ticket data is sent to Anthropic's Claude API for scoring — processed and discarded, never stored or used for training
- Scores stored in Atlassian Forge storage (hosted by Atlassian within your instance)
- No JIRA data is stored on HammerAI servers

What data leaves my JIRA instance?
Only the ticket summary, description, issue type, labels, and components are sent to Anthropic's Claude API for scoring. This data is processed and immediately discarded — it's never stored or used for model training. Scores are stored within your Atlassian instance via Forge storage.

What types of JIRA tickets get scored?
All issue types are scored — stories, tasks, bugs, epics, and custom types. Every ticket gets a score from 0 to 100%. Even routine work gets a low score with reasoning, so nothing is missed.
Can I re-score tickets after updating them?
Yes. Tickets are automatically re-scored on update. You can also manually re-score any ticket from the issue panel with one click.
What is the cryptographic seal in HammerLedger?
When a ledger is sealed, every file, finding, and claim is hashed using SHA-256 and combined into a Merkle root. This creates a single cryptographic fingerprint that proves your evidence existed at that exact point in time. Any change — even a single character — would break the seal.
